Our Process
This is our first phone call or meeting where we will learn more about your family and your project. This is also where you will learn about how we operate and see if we might be a good fit for you. It’s often said that building is like a marriage, and for good reason. Depending on the project, we will spend many months or even years together. If you don’t genuinely like and trust your builder, then you should not enter into an agreement.

At this point in the process, both the client and builder have decided they would like to proceed with exploring the project. We will enter into a Preconstruction Services Agreement for which a fee is charged. If we move forward with the project, this fee is credited to the final construction payment. Generally speaking, the more time we are able to spend in preconstruction, the less surprises we will have in construction and the more smoothly it will go.
This agreement allows us to dedicate Clark | Campbell’s resources, including our network of subcontractors, to developing your project’s budget and schedule. These deliverables are yours to keep regardless of whether or not you decide to proceed to construction with Clark | Campbell Homes. A Preconstruction Services Agreement also reserves a construction slot on our calendar for your project. After Preconstruction, each party will need to agree to enter into a Construction Contract.
This is the fun part! For you as the client, all the hard work is done. You’ve decided on your design and made almost all your selections. Now we get to do what we do best, make your dream become a reality! Time to sit back and watch your project come to life. We will be with you every step of the way.
